This restorative style class utilizes simple tools to “release” tension points and re-establish a healthy length-tension relationship of our muscles and fascia. This in turn allows our bodies to move more freely and comfortably through a wider range of motion. We use our tools (foam roller, tennis balls, lacrosse balls, our hands for example) to self-massage “trigger points” throughout our bodies followed by dynamic style stretches to allow the muscles and fascia to contract and relax properly.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO ATTEND:
Tennis ball
Two tennis balls tied in a sock (I also love RAD roller products, link at bottom of this page)
Foam Roll (36" long preferred but any foam roller will do!)
